Wilfred Ndidi has agreed to stay at Premier League club Leicester City.

According to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, the Nigeria international will put pen to paper on a new three-year contract with the Foxes.

“Wilfred Ndidi, set to sign new deal at Leicester City as final details are being discussed — then all sealed,” Romano wrote on X.

“Exclusive details: contract until June 2027, three year deal… with release clause also included.

“Despite more than 5 bids, Ndidi decides to stay and sign.”

The 27-year-old’s previous contract with the Foxes expired at the end of last month.

The defensive midfielder joined Leicester City from Belgian Pro League outfit KRC Genk in January 2017.

PNO Sports reports that Ndidi has scored 11 goals in 224 appearances for the former Premier League champions.
