Former Super Eagles forward, Daniel Amokachi has said the Super Eagles did not deserve to be at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, reports PNO Sports.
Amokachi stated that the Super Eagles are currently hampered due to the appointment of unsuitable coaches as well as poor team selection.
The Super Eagles failed to qualify for the global soccer fiesta after were stopped by the Black Stars of Ghana.
“When you look at the Portugal game, that tells you that we don’t even deserve to be there (World Cup),”Amokachi told Channels TV.
“There are one, two, three different angles that you have to look at it, bringing in the right coach, bringing in the right players and get the right environment to play at,” Amokachi told Channels TV
“We always bring the wrong coaches to handle country like Nigeria; we always bring the wrong players.”
