Super Eagles new call-up Bright Osayi-Samuel has said he hopes he can make the team stronger, reports PNO Sports.
The Fenerbache wingback or fullback has been rewarded by coach Jose Peseiro with a call-up after his displays for the Turkish giants, who are currently top of the Super Lig standings.
The 24-year-old could make his Super Eagles debut against Portugal in a friendly in Lisbon on Thursday night.
“I will play to the very best of my abilities and bring my qualities to make the Super Eagles stronger,” he vowed in an interview with Super Eagles media.
“I’m Nigerian and I’m proud to be Nigerian. I’m honoured to play for Nigeria.”
Boavista defender Bruno Onyemaechi is other new invitee in the team.
