Belgian Pro League champions Club Brugge have announced the signing of midfielder Raphael Onyedika on a five-year contract.

Onyedika joined Club Brugge from Danish SuperLiga outfit, FC Midtylland.

Club Brugge beat Serie A champions AC Milan to the signing of the Nigerian.

“Club Brugge and FC Midtjylland reached an agreement today about the definitive transfer of Raphael Onyedika,”reads a statement on the club’s official website.

The 21-year-old joined FC Midtylland from local club, FC Ebedei in 2019.

The young midfielder broke into the first team last season.

His good performances were rewarded with an election as the best young player in Denmark.
