Former Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has joined Italian fourth tier club, Casertana FC, reports Pnosports.com.
Onazi last played for Saudi Arabia club, Al-Adalah.
“Casertana FC is pleased to announce that it has ensured the sports performance of the footballer Ogenyi Eddy ONAZI,” reads a statement on the club’s official website.
The experienced midfielder has been plagued injuries in recent years.
The 29-year-old started his professional career at Serie A club, Lazio.
Onazi moved to Turkish Super Lig outfit, Trabzonspor in 2016.
The former Golden Eaglets star has also played for Lithuanian club, Zalgiris and Turkish club, Denizlispor.
He was part of the Nigeria’s squad that won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa and represented the country at two FiFA World Cups.
