The Nigeria Athletes Commission (NAC) has Congratulated the new Minister of Sports, Senator John Enoh on his appointment and tasked him on the need for better welfare package to enhance performance.
This was made known by the Commission Chairman, Olumide Oyedeji during a courtesy visit, urging him to focus more on athletes welfare, and upgrading of sports facilities to ensure podium finish at international events.
“We want to use this medium to finally congratulate Senator John Enoh on your appointment as the Minister of Sports.”The Chairman of the commission, Olumide Oyedeji stated.
“However, we want you to focus more on the welfare package of the Nigeria athletes which if done will in turn has multiplier effect on achievements of the country in all upcoming international competitions.
“It is important to note that a positive change in welfare package for all athletes and upgrading of sports facilities with a policy to see it through will put your name in the sand of time.
Nigeria athletes took part in the just concluded World Athletics Championship held Budapest, Hungary, between August 19th – 27th, 2023.

Nigeria Olympics Committee Athletes Commission is the body statutorily representing the interest of all Nigerian athletes.
Athletes Commission compromises of all Nigerian athletes from all sports which includes Olympics and non-olympics sports. It also includes representatives of all athletes of the national federations.
