Nigeria winger Ademola Lookman has joined Serie A club, Atalanta on a permanent transfer Atalanta for a reported €12m, reports Pnosports.com.
Lookman spent last season on loan at Premier League side Leicester City, scoring eight goals and providing five assists in 42 games across all competitions.
The 24-year-old also spent the 2020/21 campaign on loan at Fulham, where he contributed towards eight goals.
Since his €17m move from Everton to Leipzig in July 2019, Lookman has played just 24 games across all competitions for the German side, scoring five and creating four.
Almost recouping the fee that Leipzig paid for Lookman, they could use that to pursue a move for Chelsea forward Timo Werner.
The Germany international would be open to a return to Leipzig and would also be willing to take a pay cut.
