The Super Eagles will now play two friendly matches against the Desert Foxes of Algeria reports.

The first match will be on September 23 in Constantine against a mainly home-based Algerian team, before they take on the main national team four days later in Oran.

Originally, the CHAN Eagles were to play the first game on September 23.

However, they failed to qualify for the CHAN after they were eliminated by arch-rivals Ghana in a final playoff.

The three-time African champions  will then take on the Desert Foxes four days later at the Miloud Hadefi Stadium, Oran.

The team opened camp in Constantine on Monday ahead of the friendlies.

I8 players are already in camp with more players expected on Tuesday.
