Black Galaxies of Ghana head coach Annor Walker is confident his team will beat perennial rivals, Nigeria home and away in the 2023 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers.
Ghana have failed to qualify for the last three editions of the CHAN.
The Black Galaxies spent one week in Austria to prepare for the game where they lost to Qatar in a friendly match.
Walker’s side saw off Benin Republic 4-0 on aggregate in the previous round.
The gaffer is confident they can scale through the final qualifiying hurdle and book a spot in Algeria 2023.
“We are playing Nigeria on Sunday and I must say we are ready for the game,” Walker told Asempa FM as quoted by Ghanasoccernet.com.
“It will be a tough game but we are prepared and I am confident that we will qualify for the CHAN tournament next year,” he added.
