Bendel Insurance have qualified for the first round of the CAF Confederation Cup following a 4-3 penalty shootout win against ASO Chlef of Algeria.

ASO Chlef won the preliminary round second leg tie 1-0.

The two teams were tied 1-1 on aggregate after 90 minutes of action in Algiers.

The game went straight into penalty to determine the winner.

Goalkeeper Amas Obasogie saved twice from the spot to help Insurance win the game.

The Benin Arsenals have now won all their first round games on the continent.
