Algeria defender, Abdelkader Bedrane will miss Tuesday’s friendly against the Super Eagles of Nigeria, reports Pnosports.com

Bedrane sustained an injury in the Desert Foxes 1-0 win against Syli Nationale of Guinea last week Friday.

According to information on the official website of the Algeria Football Federation, the centre-back sprained his ankle in the encounter.

The 30-year-old returned to his Saudi Arabia club, Damac on Sunday.

The former Esperance player has been capped 10 times by the North Africans.

He was part of the team that won the FIFA Arab Cup in 2020.

Head coach, Djamel Belmadi is expected to field a strong side against the Super Eagles after he gave a number of newer players a run-out against Guinea.
